133 - Looking Outside To Learn From Within

People discuss looking at others inside your industry, company, and work teams who are moving the way you would like to and model their behavior and methods.

Today's quote reminds us that there are addition places to look for innovation. Dunkin Wardle states:

Innovation often comes from looking outside your industry"

Getting outside your comfort zone allows you to examine things with a new point of view because you cannot assume that you know everything from experience. Just that little nudge may be enough to capture a new point of view that you can find value in and apply to your success.

Many people may choose the Steve Jobs, Bill Gates and Simon Sneaks of the world. There is value there. That being said, with today's expansion in podcasting and/or Youtube, there are many, many new points of view being added to the over all collection of ideas online every day.
