Are You Overloaded From This Weeks Insanity?

Society has been dealing with very heavy levels of stress due to the Covid virus situation and the continuing increase of transmission and infections. State and local governments have been in-acting various levels of restrictions in response. Some of these have had a direct impact on individual livelihoods; in addition to the personal loss of friends, family and one's personal health.

Elements of fatigue has entered the equation due to nearly a full year of disruption has taken place. Politicians have begun to not follow their own guidelines. This is leading to increased feelings of resentment among the electorate. Adding still more stress to the issue is the political stress that lead to yesterday's violence at the Capitol building. The media has been on a 24/7 loop showing images and reporting very scary stories that many people are unable to stop watching.

You can see in many ways the impact this stress is having on people.  There has to be a way to diffuse and allow your body to distress for your own peace of mind and physical well being.

One concept to approach this can be Mindfulness Meditation. Mindfulness is the process of being present in the moment. Not focused upon the future, nor the past; but rather what is in front of you right now. There is no judgement about the conditions.
