Alignment of the answers with the objectives you are trying to reach can help simplify the vision and the ability to communicate it.   I developed a series of simple questions evolved that can be used over and over:

What is the objective?

What does success look like, sound like, feel like?

What is missing in the current KPI?

Backward design how to add what is missing. Write a statement of the final vision of success and then walk back from that step by step to where you currently are.
